i heard before from my working collegue about this guy
riding on his scooter with his cats. even read about u once
in the star newspaper. rasa nak pegi tengok sendiri tapi
tak kesampaian lagi.
apa-apa pun abang jamil, kite rase abg jamil dah buat
keje baik. abg jamil sanggup buat apa yg org lain tak
sanggup buat. bukan senang nak jaga kucing apatah lagi
kalau kita kena layan mereka macam ahli keluarga kita sendiri.
kite teringat macam cerita "lilo & stitch'- bile stitch mentioned
pasal OHANA- means family. family means no one will be left
behind or being forgotten. kite rase sbb kucing tu speechless,

I may not know who u are, but i feel that wat u are doing is such a nobel deed. Hope u get that permit and those DBKL ppl won't kacau u anymore. And for those who complain, they must be heartless or have a heart made out of stone.

Until now i still miss him, Adik is my first cat and the most i love between all the cats i have. he die in the age 16 years 7 month 23 days. ADIK i will love you forever and i will remember you forever.

Jamil di datangi oleh seorang wanita cina bernama grace dan memperkenalkan diri beliau daripada akhbar the star. beliau mahu membuat appoitments untuk mengadakan interview tentang jamil dan kucing di rumah jamil, setelah temujanji di buat beliau telah datang bersama seorang fotografer perempuan melayu dan telah mengadakan sesi fotografi di rumah jamil sambil menemuramah jamil. cerita tentang jamil telah keluar di akhbar THE STAR dalam bahasa inggeris.pada 30 sept 2005.

Subject: Halo apa khabar?
Dear Encik Jamil Ismail (aka Jamil Kucing),
I read about your article not long ago in The Star. And I'm glad there are people like you who really love cats and are able to provide a comfortable home for them.
Many times I find some irresponsible people who came and abandoned some kittens at a wet market near my place. Unable to fend for themselves, most of them ended being run down by cars. The least I can do is to provide them with some cat foods once a while. Unfortunately, my limited space doesn't allow me to care for more cats. Currently I have two cats and I lived within Kepong area. Like you, I don't want to send them to the SPCA too and I really hope that someday someone will come out with the idea of running a cat centre which can really provide a truely safe and comfortable home for cats without having to put them to sleep.
In your article u have mentioned about opening a cat centre for cats. May I know how's the progress? And where will it be located?
If your cat centre are within my vicinity, I would be more than glad to volunteer myself at your cat centre. I do understand that maybe financially it's quite difficult to achieve it immediately but I think if you can initiate and start this project and request for donations, a lot of cat lovers out there would like to chip in too.
Please do keep me updated wih your latest progress.
